The electric shelters or electric container boxes have a self-supporting structure, monolithic type, made of painted steel sheet with tubular steel beams and corrugated sheets, perfectly coupled, by means of a semi-automatic welding process. The Shelter structures are built for handling with 4 lower corner blocks and 4 upper corner blocks, in the four corners and near the lifting points are inserted uprights in iron beams and press-bent sheet metal to ensure resistance requested during lifting The electrical container boxes are designed to have a high resistance to wind and earthquake, in fact the structures and sheets are welded continuously to each other and to the main structure. The roof of the Shelters is built with 2 mm sheet metal panels, welded to the load-bearing structure and are totally insulated with polyurethane panels that guarantee correct insulation and avoid the formation of humidity that could fall on the electrical equipment below, in fact the The perimeter of the container roof is built with steel profiles and the infill is made with corrugated sheets with a closed profile that guarantees the drainage of rainwater. The side walls of the container box structure are instead made up of corrugated sheet metal panels with a thickness of 1.5 mm suitably welded in continuous wire with the load-bearing structure and are insulated with polyurethane panels with a minimum thickness of 30 mm which guarantee correct insulation and prevent the formation of humidity or condensation. The frame of the Shelter doors is made of steel sections and welded to the subframe fixed to the structure with an opening towards the outside. The nuts and bolts installed outside are made of stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized.
Technical detail
The base of the container is made up of a perimeter structure with UNP profiles and intermediate beams made with press-bent “C” profile 4 mm thick.
The bottom of the container is made, starting from the outside inwards, from a 2 mm sheet, a layer of insulation and an internal sheet of 3 mm and is able to withstand a load of 15/20 quintals per square meter. The walking surfaces of the Shelter are of the non-slip type, made of aluminum sheet of the "almond" type or in non-slip fiberglass panels.
The structure is painted, with a customized color, according to the C5-M painting system and the measurements of the containers are standard: width 2438 mm, height 2896 mm, variable lengths from 13 ", 20", 33 ", 40" ft (feet).
The electrical continuity of the electric Shelters is guaranteed by inserting 4 grounding bolts inserted in the four lower corners of the box and appropriate supports are welded to the bottom to fix the equipment and to allow the passage of internal cables in the prepared channels. Each compartment is equipped with an earth bar to which all the metal enclosures and all the earth cables coming from the panels and from the electrical equipment installed are connected.
The electric container box is made according to the specific needs of the customer and is plug & play, as all the equipment installed inside it is positioned, wired and tested at the production plant, making only the connection to the photovoltaic field or field necessary. wind power of the utility.
